This time last week, we had just kicked off the Run4Pieta!

What a great event it was for a very special charity. The final amount that will be passed onto Pieta House will be a staggering €10,583.90!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated and walked or ran over the 24 hours!

A special thank you must go to Pat O Regan, Kinsale Coffee for coordinating the event and for providing refreshments for all the participants.

Thanks to Brian Murphy, Emma O Callaghan, Pat Monaghan and Aileen McGinn for burning the midnight oil to ensure people got refreshments right through the night!

Thanks also to Trevor Moynihan of CroBar Construction and Marc O Riain for the use of their generators.

Thanks to Rhino print for sponsoring the posters.

Thanks to Brian Coughlan, Michael Scully and Christina Broderick for coordinating the men’s and ladies teams.

Thanks to Geraldine Machin, Mary Irwin, Deirdre McMahon, Caroline and David Scanell for creating a very special atmosphere by placing candles 🕯 at the Bridge. The word “Hope” shone through the night.

Hope is something Pieta House strives to give each person who comes to them in their time of need. They help them feel more hopeful about the future. The funds raised will go along way to managing over 16,000 calls through their 24 hour freephone helpline.

And a massive thank you to the whole community of Kinsale for getting behind the club to make Run4Pieta the success that it was.
