The pilot programme is run over 5 weeks and each week focuses on one of the 5 a Day for Your Mental Health These 5 simple actions are To Connect, Be Active, Give, Take Notice and Keep Learning. By introducing these five simple actions into our day, we will certainly feel the benefits!
The Theme for Week 1 which kicks off on Monday 10th June is to CONNECT.
These are some activities that will take place;

  1. Players from the Ladies Senior Team will CONNECT with the Underage players at training on Monday. They will help coach the girls. So for one week only, training for U6-11 will take place in Bandon Road from 5.45-6.45. Training will go back to its usual time the following week.
  2. We would love for parents to CONNECT with their girls by taking part in this week's sessions at training and develop your Gaelic football skills so we invite you to stay around on Monday for training and take part.
  3. On Thursday night at 7pm we will CONNECT with our community by helping the Tidy Towns clean up our beautiful town. We will have more details about this on Monday.

Let's all get involved by simply following the 5 a Day for Your Mental Health . Our mind and body both need the nourishment of 5aday!!!
