Congratulations to all the recipients who received their awards at this year’S Social in the Blue Haven Hotel!

We hope everyone enjoyed their night. It was great to see so many club members together enjoying themselves and reminiscing a great year and looking forward to what’s ahead for 2019.The Ladies were presented with their Junior County League medals, their U21A County final medals and their Senior B County Final medals. The fact that it was International Women’s Day made it all the more special! Presentations were made to the Field Committee; Michael Murphy, John Maloney, Joe O’Leary, Donal O Leary, Noel O Sullivan and Robbie O Leary. The Club truly appreciates the Trojan work they have done for the Club and they are true hardworking Gaels! Rita Murphy was also recognized on the night, for all her hard work. Go raibh míle maith agaibh. The Club was also delighted to present awards to different players who have shown great commitment to their teams and Club. The special awards went to; The Senior Ladies Footballer of the Year was Georgina Buckley.The Intermediate Footballer of the Year was Brian Coughlan.The Junior Camogie Player of the Year was Trish Ryan.The Junior Hurler of the Year was Wayne O’Hea.The Junior Footballer of the Year was Ricky O Hanlon.The Ladies Junior Footballer of the Year was Lisa Copithorne.The Minor Player of the Year was James Rooney Crowley.The Ladies Minor Player of the Year was Cara Dwyer.The Club Person of the Year is always a very special award. It recognizes someone who gives of their time for the good of their Club.This year the award was presented to Padraig McGillicuddy who is so dedicated to Kinsale GAA.He was honoured to receive the award and dedicated it to all of the Club members who show great commitment to Kinsale GAA. Comhghairdeas Padraig! Well deserved.Finally, the Club would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors, The Blue Haven with a special mention for Alison and Ciarán.
